On the Moselle, this facility will host international canoeing and kayaking competitions and will also be used to train and train firefighters on the risks of drowning and flooding.
The course is 200 m long, 10 m wide, with a difference in altitude of 3.30 m. It is supplied with water by three Archimedes screws, with an adjustable flow rate of 3 to 12 m3 per second. A treadmill will allow kayakers to go back to the start of the course from the Moselle.
In order to attract a more diverse audience, facilities will be added to the nature sports offer of the Communauté d’Agglomerération d’Épinal: an artificial surf wave and a waterfall type jump.
Congratulations to our teams mobilized on site !
