As part of the construction of an offshore wind turbine manufacturing and assembly plant, Eiffage Génie Civil teams reinforced 400 m of existing quays.

Creation of two quays:

  • a "Jack-up" quay dedicated to the reception of self-lifting ships equipped with on-board cranes allowing the loading of heavy components stored on the quayside;
  • a "Lo-Lo" quay dedicated to the import and export of various components.

The tide as conductor. Throughout the 13 months of work, operations were planned during low tide periods, i.e. 2 per day.

In figures, this multi-trade project represents :

  • 28,000 m3 of concrete poured
  • 182,000 tonnes of distribution mattresses
  • 135,000 m3 of dredging
  • 90,000m3 of underwater gravel
  • 274 augered piles
  • 500 cased bored piles
  • 4 pontoons
  • 7 drilling machines
  • 4 demolition excavators
  • 4 cranes
