In Le Havre (76), Eiffage Génie Civil teams reinforce the Joannès Couvert quay
As part of the construction of an offshore wind turbine manufacturing and assembly plant, Eiffage Génie Civil teams reinforced 400 m of existing quays.
Creation of two quays:
- a "Jack-up" quay dedicated to the reception of self-lifting ships equipped with on-board cranes allowing the loading of heavy components stored on the quayside;
- a "Lo-Lo" quay dedicated to the import and export of various components.
The tide as conductor. Throughout the 13 months of work, operations were planned during low tide periods, i.e. 2 per day.
In figures, this multi-trade project represents :
- 28,000 m3 of concrete poured
- 182,000 tonnes of distribution mattresses
- 135,000 m3 of dredging
- 90,000m3 of underwater gravel
- 274 augered piles
- 500 cased bored piles
- 4 pontoons
- 7 drilling machines
- 4 demolition excavators
- 4 cranes
