On the A20, south of Brive-la-Gaillarde (19), Résirep and Forézienne have secured the Puyjarrige cliff
South of Brive-la-Gaillarde, on the A20, the Puyjarrige cliff was completed in February 2022. The teams proposed technical solutions to the Dirco (Direction Interdépartementale des Routes du Centre-Ouest), the national road manager, to secure the cliff.
For 6 months, they worked on the construction of multiple structures :
- High resistance plated mesh coupled with a coconut mat
- Reinforced concrete cap beam with drainage water collection gutter
- Nailed wall in dry shotcrete
- Double-twisted hanging wire mesh
Key figures :
- 1,200 m² of shotcrete
- 3,900 m of anchors
- 2,000 m² of high resistance mesh
- 750 m of sub-horizontal drains
- 500 m3 of concrete
- 6,000 m² of hanging wire mesh
Congratulations to the Résirep and Forézienne teams who worked tirelessly to restore traffic on the A20 !
