Understanding slipform formwork
Climbing formwork is a mobile, modular system used to construct reinforced concrete walls using continuous casting.
The principle involves formwork that is gradually raised by jacks, in perfect synchronisation with the setting of the concrete. This approach eliminates the traditional cycles of formwork erection and stripping, thereby optimising the construction process.
