Supporting major urban
infrastructure projects

Consideration for the city, local residents and the environment

Our company’s technical know-how and ability to meet deadlines make us a strong and reliable partner. Eiffage Génie Civil has put its stamp on a growing number of operations in the foundations sector. Our customers rely on our specialists from the first stages of their complex large-scale infrastructure projects and real estate programmes. Eiffage Génie Civil is called on to take part in structuring projects like the Grand Paris Express.

From special to deep foundation work

Eiffage Génie Civil can respond to all the demands of complex contracts. Our company offers a broad range of fully-controlled techniques and processes, with specific know-how in a number of fields.

  • Retaining walls and foundations : diaphragm walls and foundation bars with bucket and cutter, foundation piles of all types, secant piles and micropiles, anchorage (prestressed tie-rods and nails) soldier pile walls and forepoling.
  • Soil improvement : void filling, ground reinforcement and sealing by injection, jet grouting, specialist ground freezing works.

Targeting excellence with latest-generation materials

At Eiffage Génie Civil we have our own cutting-edge equipment to meet the technical challenges raised by major foundations works.

  • 2 complete cutter workshops comprising a MC96 carrier with integrated winding system and a BC40 cutter for the construction of 800 to 1,800 mm-thick diaphragm walls, up to 80 m deep in constrained environments.
  • One compact unit to remove grit from drilling mud, with a limited footprint.

Ongoing support from our Group’s experts

Whatever the scope of the works, our action responds closely to operational needs throughout the project. We operate everywhere, in the fields of traditional civil engineering and construction, requiring (for example) reinforcement with diaphragm walls and all kinds of injections.

Apart from our own resources, Eiffage Génie Civil relies on the skills of our design and engineering and Materials and Innovation departments. A pledge of efficiency in large-scale project management.

The Grand Paris Express challenge

Eiffage Génie Civil is taking part in the Grand Paris Express project which aims to significantly reinforce transport provision in the Paris region. This gigantic building site is currently one of the world’s most important urban projects. It offers a challenge requiring full, overall  control of this kind of operation and all the necessary specialist knowledge – especially in foundations works.

An XXL operation

Eiffage Génie Civil’s Toulouse teams are taking part in the XXL-sized Line A operation enabling platform length to be doubled in certain stations along Toulouse’s first metro line.
