Eiffage’s training centres set their sights on jobs

Eiffage Génie Civil is reinforcing the teams on its project worksites, training young talents in a number of particularly sought-after trades. This is a great opportunity to develop know-how in contact with experienced teams deployed on a large-scale project. With the chance of a permanent job at the end of the day.

  • These schools are open to all, including non-qualified people with few prospects of finding a job. They have an intake of  around 200 students per year, recruited after a selection process including aggregate information and individual interviews.  Applicants are offered a work-study contract with paid training.
As mobility is an important factor in all our activity sectors, they need a valid driver's licence and means of transport.

Our centres are also open to staff who already have jobs in the company, but can benefit from technical and professional in-service training to be up-skilled in fields like topography and stonework, or qualify for promotion to leadership positions in the technical trades (team leaders or site foremen).

  • Eiffage Infrastructure Training Centres offer long-term diploma-based courses (one year on average) as part of our apprenticeship and professional skills programmes, leading to a qualification or certificate recognized by the Labour and Education Ministries and the sector's professional branch.

Many applicants obtain a full-time permanent contract once they have passed their exams.

  • Trainees alternate “theory” in the training centre and “practice “ on the sites - where they are mentored by company employees – to become street and utility network or waste-water network builders, civil engineering form setters or machine operators, according to the company's needs.
