The first Regio 2N train has arrived at the future SNCF maintenance center in Villeneuve Demain.

This key milestone will enable our teams to begin railway testing, particularly for the centralized command and control system.

Here is an update on our progress:

  • Earthworks are complete.
  • Dry and wet utilities are nearly finalized.
  • The tracks have been laid.
  • Structural work on the buildings is finished, and secondary work packages are now underway.
  • The underfloor wheel lathe is installed.
  • Signaling activities have commenced.
  • The overhead crane and lifting table are currently being installed.
  • Catenary system installation is ongoing.

This achievement brings us one step closer to the inauguration of the largest SNCF Group maintenance center in France, which will be dedicated to servicing the RER D and Line R trainsets.

The consortium, led by Eiffage Génie Civil, is leveraging a wide range of expertise from across the Eiffage group, including Demcy, Eiffage Rail, Eiffage Énergie Systèmes, Eiffage Route, SAVARE, and Ferlioz from Eiffage Concessions.
