News from Cote d'Ivoire... the construction of the Singrobo-Ahouaty hydroelectric dam continues with several structures nearing completion!
The first phase of embankment construction - over 550,000 m3 of rock - is now complete.
The transformer station and civil engineering works are now in their final phase!
The tailrace - which is used to drain the water from the turbines into the Bandama River - has almost reached its outlet. When completed, this structure will be 1,500 m long with a width varying from 25 to 75 m.
The delicate operation of installing the girders of the overhead crane in the framework of the dam factory was a success for our teams! This 110-tonne overhead crane will allow the installation of all the electromechanical equipment in the plant's shafts, as well as the performance of maintenance operations during operation by the company IHE.
